Have any of you run across a purple gear bag? I'm just starting to build a collection of shooting accessories (eye protection, ear protection, etc.) and wanted something purple to store it in.

Thanks in advance,

Julie C.

Actually, I purchased a pretty snazzy & super inexpensive black bag over at the walgreens drugstore & saw a black & purple number that might interest you.

5.99!!!

perfect range bag...& when it's dusty & loaded with lead and dirt, you won't be sad about tossing it.

I carry ear protection, about 4 or 5 boxes of 50 round ammo, glock case, extra mags, hat, holster, and targets...side compartments galore.

tag reads on bag..."Quick Tote"

if you're set on an all purple bag, and you don't mind kicking out some cash for it:
http://www.greenmtnsports.com/

they have custom versions of their bags that you can order in purple. be warned that the "big bag" is *huge* Razz. i own one in black with purple trim, and the workmanship is top-notch. (i was nice to myself for a birthday. Smile )

That link origianlly caught my attention because Green Mountain is the name of one of the ranges I go to, but they're located in Lakewood, CO. Maybe they're owned by the same lady, that would be way cool. I'm really liking the range bags on the link you posted. One of those bags would be ideal to keep in the truck.

aha!

actually, i remember the bag being shipped from CO, and i think it *was* Lakewood, so it's quite possible Very Happy. the lady was really nice, and called me to make sure that she understood what i wanted embroidered on it Wink.

i will probably carry that bag if i ever get to the outdoor range, here, but it's too big for the bench at the indoor range, so i'll have to find a smaller one for that. i may just order the smaller one the next time i have extra cash Razz.

The address on your link is Longmont, CO. But they're only 25-30 miles apart. I'm smack dab in the middle of them both. The story I've heard behind the Green Mountain Family Shooting Center is that it's owned by the same lady who invented/created the Oxy10 cleaning products. Their website is http://www.gmfsc.org/green.php . At any rate, I don't want to jack the thread on these two comparisons. I like the bags, gonna go order one Smile
